I saw the movie in the theatre the day in came out. Then I rented it when it came out on video. Before I took the movie back to the video store, I bought it. I watch all the time! My brothers think I'm crazy. I love the movie and I LOVE this song. I have a question though for anybody out there, in the movie, that Eddie guy says 'interesting rewrite'. I can't figure out exactly what part Landon 'rewrote'. Can anyone help me? Thanx!! |

Jewel is my all-time favourite artist. Her music always tells a story and this song is just so beautiful. You can hear the compassion in her voice when she sings. This song is one of my particular faves because it holds true. When my borfriend moved away, I went out in public expecting see him places that I always DID see him before. Even though I knew he wouldn't be there, I still hoped, just maybe, I would catch a glimpse. That's what this song reminds me of. |

I love this song. It's so true too. It's like, after you break up with someone or they break up with you, somehow it's a strange comfort to know that they're feeling pain too. That way you know that you really did mean something to them. And if they don't seem like it affected them at all, it hurts so much because you start thinking 'maybe they didn't care', 'maybe they never really loved me', 'i'm not as good as him/her'. I think we all are just a little sadistic when it comes to things like this. The other person feeling pain just SOMEHOW in us, makes the pain tolerable. Shared sorrow if half sorrow. |

I just want to say that although Em isn't my FIRST choice of music, I like the song. I've liked all the songs he's released on the radio. I don't take them so seriously. They are infectiuos. You just can't get them out of your head. And I listen to Jewel. But I can appreciate when it's due. And it definitely is. I think that if he wants to put himself out there like that, more power to him. And if you don't like the music, I have a tip for you: DON'T LISTEN TO IT! That's pretty much it, so in a nutshell: he's not my fave, but props to him for some kick-ass songs. :-) Bye now. |

When I heard this song, I first just thought it was another love song. But after listening to it, I realized that it said much more. To me it's talking about that little part of all of us, that, no matter what, will always be ours alone. A place that only we can reach and no one else. There's always that secret place deep inside us that makes us tick, makes us who we are, and we are the only ones who can get there. The people we love may recognize it and see it, but that won't fully understand it. |

This is my favorite song. I ordered Angie Aparo's CD recently because of this song. It reminds me of my boyfriend, some of the things he says to me sometimes. The lyrics and music are just amazing! It's a fun one to blast really loud on cool summer nights. |
