is it me or are we all starting to sound like thoe rappers when the big "feud" between west and east coast rappers occurred? does anyone else feel like shooting themselves now?
honestly, hardcorestraightedge, i hope u went to lazerfest for the music as well, cuz if u just went to go into the pits then i can tell u a cheaper way to do the same stuff. go to a bar tell a very big guy that another guy insulted him, if hes drunk enuff, then within ten minutes u'll have urself a great mosh pit. and it wont cost a damn thing!
i dont usually go into pits, they arent for me, cuz while my music tends to be very violent, i am a rather peaceful guy.
we are all entitled to listen to and like what we want. yet u come in here to slam people for not being the first one to get there cd, or for liking metal more than punk. u kno what a punk band is? its a group of preppies that have delusions that they are tough. but that is only my opinion, and there are exceptions to that statement, heathyr's examples above fall in there, except richmond sluts, never heard of them.
i respect any musician that goes out and plays music that makes him happy, i dont respect fans that become so obsessed with that kinda music that they say everything else sux, u know what? all u punk rockers on this page slamming the real fans of slipknot can go and suck janet reno's balls. u're all just tryin to stir the shit up and it is gonna get your asses in trouble |

im not entirely sure what the song is supposed to be about, it can go a few different ways from what i can see.
it sounds at points like he sees these really horrible things around him, and he thinks "i didn't dothis" but then he says, "did I?" its like he cant remember and he starts to question himself.
goin with that thought, it sounds like part of the song is sung from a different point of view within him. like a different personality, and it is enjoying doing these things, whether it bemurder or what. and when that side starts to fade and the other comes out, he says "i saw my bloody hands come clean before my eyese!" |

u people have all devoted too much time and energy to this crusade to find the meaning in this song. it isnt healthy. meaning should come from within. it shouldnt matter wut other people think about the song. im sure corey had a meaning to this song when he wrote it as he does with all of his songs.

actually, if you ask me, which i know nobody did, but i am gonna say it anyway, the song is about an addiction. he is addicted to something and wants to quit but he cant, and while at times he feels good there are also times where he hates himself. and he needs help and support from others to quit. but then again, thats just my opinion, i could be wrong |
