American Hi-Fi – Flavor Of The Weak Lyrics 23 years ago
I saw an alternate version of the song lyrics to this song, where instead of "flavor of the week" it was "flavor of the weak". This actually made some sense; she was always with these guys that don't treat her like she deserves. These guys are sub-par, e.g. "weak."

A-Ha – Take On Me Lyrics 23 years ago
This is a pretty good song. But I have one question about it, is it about a stalker?

You shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway

Maybe I'm putting too much into it, but that is what it looks like to me.

Paulina Rubio – Y yo sigo aquí Lyrics 23 years ago
I love this song and the video rocks. Little did I know that when this song first came out that some of the lyrics were suggestive to say the least.

I just like the beat.

*NSYNC – Girlfriend Lyrics 23 years ago
What I want to know is when did *NSYNC become urban? Just look at the video.

Kim Carnes – Bette Davis Eyes Lyrics 23 years ago
This isn't a description of a beautiful woman, yet it shows how she can be evil. That just goes to show, some people ARE what they seem to be.

Mary J. Blige – Family Affair Lyrics 23 years ago
This song is all about love. Love that Mary J has for her fans and love that people should have in the world. It's a great song to help perk you up when you're down.

David Gray – Babylon Lyrics 23 years ago
okay, I can sorta see the fighting with the lover side, but still what does that have to do with Babylon?

Once this song stayed in my head for two weeks. Imagine my pain.

Savage Garden – I Want You Lyrics 23 years ago
This song is near impossible to sing along with. You have to be able to spit out words at a blinding speed. But I like it!

Daft Punk – One More Time Lyrics 23 years ago
My heart pumps peanut butter everytime I hear "He don't stop / You can stop" Although I thought it was "You can't stop" but I could be wrong.

The Verve Pipe – The Freshmen Lyrics 23 years ago
I always thought it said "Stomping baby's breath and shoe full of rice," which again, relates back to the wedding thing.

Cher – Believe Lyrics 23 years ago
This song is pretty good. It is pretty self-explainitory. The video rocks too.

Moby – We Are All Made of Stars Lyrics 23 years ago
I'm replying to the original statement. The person with his eye hanging out is not because of some nuclear fallout, that is Toxie, a member of the Toxic Crusaders, a mildly popular cartoon show in the late 80s/early 90s.

Frankly, I just think you or whoever wrote that article read too much into the song, which, in my opinion isn't a good song to begin with. Not that I am dissing on Moby, but he has done better.

D12 – Purple Hills Lyrics 23 years ago
In a lot of ways I like the clean version of the more. I would be lying if I didn't say that the video didn't add to its appeal.

Quite possibly the ultimate song of regret.

A1 – Take On Me Lyrics 23 years ago
This is one of the few times when someone remakes a song and its sounds as good, if not better, than the original!

Meat Loaf – I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That) Lyrics 23 years ago
I thought 'that' was refering to letting go of the relationship. Sorta like the phrase "If you love something let go.." but this guy doesnt want to do 'that.'

Of course, I could be wrong. It's happened once before ;-)

Bonnie Tyler – Holding Out For A Hero Lyrics 23 years ago
This song has appeared in many movies. And that is because it conveys such a common message. The need to be rescued. And while being in many movies may have cheapened its value, that enabled it to reach a larger audience. I cant help but rock out to the song when I see Tom Candy in "Who's Harry Crumb" chasing after the airplane or Johnny 5 in "Short Circuit 2" taking out the bad guy.

I need help, I know..

Cyndi Lauper – Time After Time Lyrics 23 years ago
This is the ultimate song of heartache. It shows how life isn't black and white, but with plenty of gray.

Caught up in circles
Confusion is nothing new

Cyndi Lauper – She Bop Lyrics 23 years ago
I agree about the masterbation thing, but I thought the line "Because I can't stop messin' with the danger zone" was more of a reference.

Bonnie Tyler – Total Eclipse of the Heart Lyrics 23 years ago
Call me crazy, but I *liked* the video. Especially at the end, when you see that one boy with the creepy empty eyes. I love the song!

Phil Collins – Don't Lose My Number Lyrics 23 years ago
To me, this is a song about how a small town reacts to a young boy being gay.

"I'm never coming back"
They heard him cry
And I believe him

They wouldn't stop till they found him
They didn't know him and they didn't understand
They never asked him why

"They didn't know him and they didn't understand" that is what made me think that this song was about a young gay man. However, the video tells a different story - Billy, the Kid.
