Weird Al Yankovic – Amish Paradise Lyrics

In the first chorus, there are also the lines:
We sell quilts at discount price
Living in an Amish paradise
And in the part of the song from Gilligan's Island (There's no phone...), the name is Robinson Crusoe, not Caruso (it's from the novel). |

Ben Folds Five – Regrets Lyrics

The line: "Said there must be thousands like me with the same name," is a direct reference to the title of the album. Reinhold Messner was apparently a name that was commonly used on fake IDs in North Carolina, where the band is from. |

Guns N' Roses – Mr. Brownstone Lyrics
|
Mr. Brownstone is slang for marijuana. The song is about a guy that starts smoking marijuana, but after the first use, he has more trouble getting high, so at the end of the song, he switches to an injectable drug, probably heroin. In the lyrics, the last line of the song is not shown. It is, "Stuck it in the needle, shot it in the needle, it drove me out of my mind." The song is about the ill effects of marijuana as a gateway drug that ruined a guy's life. |
