havent u people grown or developed in any way wasnt there a time when tragic kingdom would play and every song seemed to relate directly to you well, it was exactly the same wih return of saturn. theyve changed as a band and theyre experiencing new things she happy right now and that definatly shows in the music. so what if u like ska there are tones of ska bands out there listen to there albums, TK was wicked i agree and they havent gone off beat since. return of saturn was alot more jazzy and i didnt hear any of u complain about that so what the big problem with some reggee and dance, shes experiencing hip hop. the eve colaboration was wicked and it suited her! have u seen them live??? they sound exactly the same as the cds. i live in the middle of the uk and i busted my ass to get to go see them and i was single handedly the best arranged experience of my life!! and i hope they carry on and make more ablums that no ones expecting cos theyre amazing! so evolve! |

not all no doubt songs are about gavin or tony the other band memebers have love lives also that the writters then use as inspiration. just praps maybe we "fans" shouldnt get so caught up in the stars social lives and just appricate that they make great music that relates to anyone not just there significant other!!! |

none of you seem to have truely grasped the whole concept. your focusing on one line, and if it was that basic she wouldnt have written the whole song. she was young when she met this guy and she hadnt developed into the person she was destined to be and then this guy be littled her and made her feel naff, now shes herself finally and didnt let him bother her she sees him now as a stepping stone and shes beyond him now! get it? from the tragic kingdom era most of the lyrics were based around finding ur self and realiseing that guy that made u feel crappy isnt that great and u can do better. it was her get back album at tony :D |

she sounds her stongest in this song. its so powerful and direct. how can someone put up with a relationship like this. it drains u of hope and leaves u feeeling worthless no one deserves to be made to feel empty and none existant because one inconherant idiot wants to use a women as an object. this song just makes me think rape victum but its worse because you end up trusting the guy until the line is crossed and then they are nothing more then scum.! |

this song really reflects the completely gutted feeling you'd get once you realised your ex had moved on. when i heard it i felt like she was an obsessive and theyd probably been seperated for years but shed never come to terms with it the realiseation in her voice when she sings the note, it really must have hit her hard. |

fuck off with your "back in the day when no doubt were good" have u heard anything more diverse then there music, i think them and blur are the only bands to evolve SUCCESSFULLY with every album. gwen isnt just a style icon to teenagers with no brains she feels things and has the most beautiful way of putting it. their songs envelope every emotion ive ever felt! |

ive never heard her sing this but it sounds beautiful the lyrics are so fluent and obviously about someone and a situation (most probably tony) its about thinking your so right at the time and then realising theres alot more to love. |
