| my two cents...the first guy, he is the average guy, he moves to cali to try and be famous and what not. simple enough. the girl, she is poor, most likely living on the street. fair enough. but i think some people are missing how they are connected. i believe this song is trying to let us see how we always want more, like the first guy. nothing seems to be enough. the sad irony is that all the girl wants is what the guy already has, a place to live, family, security etc. the girl would do anything to be in the guy shoes, yet the guy is unhappy. pretty realistic if you ever talked to someone in proverty. | |
