and by the way, ALL punk bands (and rock bands) for that matter play their own instruments. and they actually write the music too. do you think eminem came up with the instrumental parts behind his songs? of course not! someone else did it for him. he just slabbed a bunch of hate-filled ignorant lyrics together and rapped to a beat. |

the main difference b/w old blink and new blink is simple. old blink (before enema) was pop-PUNK. new blink is POP-punk. they've never been a truely punk band, and never will be. but they used to have less of an emphasis on the pop aspect and more on the punk. |

ok simple plan is quite simply the worst band in history. how could you even call them pop-punk? they are just POP. there is no punk aspects in them at all. they are in the same category as avril. in fact, they make NFG look like a hardcore punk band.
if you want to listen to some really good punk music, check out MxPx. they are the best band out there. and i bet most of you have never even given them a chance b4. just because they arent played on mtv, doesnt mean they suck. |
