Jethro Tull – Black Satin Dancer Lyrics 23 years ago
This was written in the period of Ian Andersons divorce from his missus. Its about that final sexual encounter where for that fleeting time all the troubles of their marriage matter not. The broken mandolin is the broken mandolin and the thin wind is the final loving whispers of song.

Jethro Tull – Minstrel In The Gallery Lyrics 23 years ago
The song is about self realisation...how we look down at people and scorn them...the Minstrel does this to his audience, But throughout the gig he watches the audience and sees himself in them. He realises...as we should that we are all equal and the same.

Zero 7 – In The Waiting Line Lyrics 23 years ago
To me it symbolises this dull and depressing existence...the fact that no one really listens or cares about what u say or think, they just want to get their own say and care only for their own opinions.
The mood of the song symbolises the daze of depression....that feeling you get when absorbed in misery of just floating through life, time and space and meaning having no coherency...all that exists in this inner battle. I think its a gorgeous song.
