| Coal Chamber – Fiend Lyrics | 23 years ago |
Nice lyrics. But the guitar is very similar to Rammstein's "Spieluhr". |
| Coal Chamber – Sway Lyrics | 23 years ago |
Meaning?? Close to none. The beginning is Fire Water Burn by Bloodhound Gang. That's the obvious part. The rest is VERY similar to "Ball Tongue" by Korn. |
| KoЯn – Somebody Someone Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Aaah, one of my favorites. The contrast of the chorus followed by the shouting has much of an effect on me. | |
| KoЯn – Twist Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Right before "Clown" starts Jonathan is talking about that he wants some twist and has to "put it on an fucking tape". For "Life is peachy" he did just that. It's just gibberish and has no meaning at all - though to Jonathan it probabla HAS one - but sounding just cool. It's one of those things that you have to perform on stage for full effect. Then it REALLY kicks ass. | |
| KoЯn – Trash Lyrics | 23 years ago |
He tells that he gets on with other girls while he's in a relationship. He treats his partner like "trash" but she still stays and lets it happen to her. That amazes him and guilty conscience plagues him but he can't help and goes on with his escapades. This one probably has one of the nicest refrains. The tune sticks to your mind. @evilangel This isn't about physical rape. You got to read carefully. |

| KoЯn – Thoughtless Lyrics | 23 years ago |
"All my friends are gone, they died (Gonna take you down!) They all screamed and cried (Gonna take you down!)" Is this metaphorical or contributing to a different meaning than you expect? I really have no idea. I think you can generalize the lyrics but you could just as well interprete them in a unique way. The intro catches you on the spot. I repeated it the first times over and over just because it was so damn addictive to listen to. Became overplayed but the song is still one of Korn's best. |
| KoЯn – Shoots and Ladders Lyrics | 23 years ago |
Nursery rhymes and brutality have much in common sometimes. Look at fairy tales. They are not made for children and always feature violence and profanity. Due to these facts this song is close to brilliant. The intro is smashing. |
| KoЯn – No One's There Lyrics | 23 years ago |
I think the placement of this song matters a lot. It's the final track on the album. To me it seems like this song indirectly refers to the entire album. He sings all these songs about hate and depression. In the end "Noone's there" to listen to him. It's all in vain. Purposeless. A clever song and my personal favorite on Untouchables besides smash hits like "Here to Stay" and "Thoughtless". A perfect conclusion to the album. |
| KoЯn – Make Me Bad Lyrics | 23 years ago |
@nick jones Oops sorry. Original version. Yup, you are probably right. "Reason" seems a bit out of place in the context. Would explain that I guess. |
| KoЯn – Make Me Bad Lyrics | 23 years ago |
It's definitely NOT "semen"! I think it is about sex in some way but it could mean something else. Very obscure. What counts is just the effect of the song. I don't like the bass in the background of the refrain. I doesn't fit in there. The intro is good as usual. |
| KoЯn – Low Rider (War cover) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
It's a cover version of War's Lowrider. Can anyone tell me what's the meaning of el caco? Right before Helmet in the Bush there can be heard something similar to "don't call me caco". It goes on a little while. What does it mean? Is Head called "caco" sometimes? |
| KoЯn – Hollow Life Lyrics | 23 years ago |
One of the best songs from Untouchables. A slow and soft one. Religion can give your life a meaning as long as it works well. But if you mess up there will be desperation as you notice there are no "signs" from your personal god. A hollow life. It's very sad but true. |
| KoЯn – Here To Stay Lyrics | 23 years ago |
Complete state of despair with no movement. He is down as down gets and has no power left for life at all. Nice one to start an album. Becomes quite clear that we have to sit through a lot of hate and depression once again. As most singles this song gets pretty overplayed after a while. |
| KoЯn – Got The Life Lyrics | 23 years ago |
@and512 I think so, too. Now that they are famous people will follow them like sheep. But the song tells that this is just superficial and no benefit at all. Cause fame doesn't solve problems. My interpretation. As "Freak on a leash" this is another song I can't get used to. Too much rap influence. "Got your boogie on" and the likes. |
| KoЯn – Good God Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Aaah, one of my favorites! It's full of aggression and builds up tension towards the final screams. Jonathan sounds like a madman in the end. The contrast between brutal shouts and a rather soft chorus line makes this an outstanding one in their repertoire. | |
| KoЯn – Freak on a Leash Lyrics | 23 years ago |
@nimrod Why bother writing this? They won't read it anyway. Duke understands nothing. There is no satan worshipping in Korn's songs. Just ignore him, he's got self-confidence complex or somthing like that. Maybe he should write some songs about it. But then...maybe he should not! :D I never liked that song. It just doesn't appeal to me. The whole odd sound of it. It's not heavy, it's somehow eerie and quite boring. I think it's about the general state of feeling captivated in our society. "You and I were meant to be. A cheap fuck for me to lay Something takes a part of me. Feeling like a freak on a leash. (You wanna see the light) Feeling like I have no release. (So do I) How many times have I felt diseased? (You wanna see the light) Nothing in my life is free... is free" -- It seems like a reference to sex and to the risk of it. Especially the last line makes me think aobut it that way. Odd interpretation, hum? |

| KoЯn – Falling Away From Me Lyrics | 23 years ago |
One thing to add. The video implies that the lyrics are concerned with abusal but there is no definite proof. It can be universally applied to depression in general. Life can "beat you down", too. |
| KoЯn – Falling Away From Me Lyrics | 23 years ago |
This song is not about abusal. At least there is no reference to be found in the lyrics. It's about the plain thought to commit suicide because life has no meaning any more. This song strange enough makes you feel better if you are down. Sic n twisted already said this. That's the case for Korn songs in general I think. It may be too catchy to listen to after a while. It gets a little bit boring then. But it's still one of the greatest Korn songs. |
| KoЯn – Blind Lyrics | 23 years ago |
Yeah they did Twist and the crowd has gone wild hehe. Whenever the first chords of Blind are played there is that sort of reaction from the crowd when you know 'now it's going to rock!'. And it does. Seems like the most famous song by Korn. Plus the first on the debut. It gets more easily overplayed than other songs though. |

| KoЯn – Ball Tongue Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Try this: There you are alone With no hope of ever having something to be proud of Something earned without begging Yes, I know you're a person, a person close to me Who do you think you are? You were my … I'm not going to give in How can you fuck'n doubt me, but not again Ball Tongue! -They've driven right by my friends Ball Tongue! -They've taken the take above me Ball Tongue! -They're a psycho munky Ball Tongue! -They've come to enslave me Ball Tongue! -They've jacken themselves onto me Ball Tongue! -Your fuck'n gangster signs Ball Tongue! -They've come not to save them, but they take Ball Tongue! -Fuck'n death to fuck'n me You're a psychopath Ball Tongue! -Berome's dead at the tecnodrome Ball Tongue! -You're right, he's dead, tear gas dropped, but who was it? You're a Dyke! --- I don't like this song very much but there is no gibberish it all does make sense. |

| KoЯn – Daddy Lyrics | 23 years ago |
Just considering the most of emotion packed into one song this would be easily the one to pick from Korn - and from most of the other bands. The sobbing at the end is touching, be it real or fake, you might decide yourself. "Little child, looking so pretty. Come out and play, I'll be your Daddy." Here's a lyrical hint that this song isn't about his dad in person. From this point he refers to the person in question as 'daddy'. Í personally think he puts his father into the role of the culprit by making this reference to 'daddy'. |
| KoЯn – Faget Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| The heaviest song - and I'm talking about heavy not loud - , Jonathan once again takes musical revenge at society. The best one on Korn though there are many good ones on that album. | |
| Manowar – Master Of The Wind Lyrics | 23 years ago |
the lyrics are typical of manowar and do not have any deeper meaning but they are quite poetic this is one of the best silent metal balads ever written and was a personal favorite of mine for a long time |
| Lambretta – Piece Of My Heart Lyrics | 23 years ago |
a great pop song i really like the sound of this one it's about a woman who has decided to break up no deep lyrics in here but the song appeals to me very much though i usually don't like pop at all |
