| Chris left the band right after this. A lot of people assume the song is about drugs or whatever, I think it's more about Chris saying that he was done being a rock star. He was clearly thinking of leaving the band and he was obviously struggling with his own mental health issues. I think the flame he is talking about in the song is the drive to tour, being on stage, living a life that he always missed when he wasn't around it but then realized he hated when he was actually doing it. | |
