eek i know logically this song is about partying and fucking and shiz BUT.....,,,,, as a person with bpd i find this to be such a perfect metaphorical representations of the *ups* in a relationship for me. i feel this song beautifully illustrates the feelings of love and obsession being so strong that i push past the logical awareness that at many other times (or all in like .actuakly bad relationships) this relationship is fucking killing me in one way or another, and the fragility that this seemingly happy state brings with it when considering my shitty past experiences and constant subconscious sense of doubt. Even if a relationship *is* healthy and *is* cool and good and normal, im still mostly internally and mostly silently freaking the fuck out about it any time im not being given attention, so in the few times during a less consistent relationship (which has been urm all of mine so far for *USUALLY* uncontrollable reasons relating to commute) that i DO get the attention, its the most insane euphoric rush. but that's like the most inherently fleeting state that exists in a relationship like this-- the largely unexplored unusually positive feelings always become so much to handle that i break down and maybe even lash out if something is said or done by them that particularly freaks me out and reminds me of particularly past (romantic or nonromantic) one on one experiences. |

@[gallerypiecee:53900] AH SO SOSOSOO REAL i entirely relate to. all of this. 1000%. been really enjoying of montreal in general for this reason. regardless of if any of their songs actually intend to depict the struggles of having bpd in relationships or even just general life, i find a lot of them so accurately and beautifully describe how it feels to be.having these constant and intense feelings. such an amazingly written song^_^^ |
