I don't understand the gaps in understanding on this song. I saw a comment saying he clearly wants the physical, but then complains that SHE is too physical, when that isn't what's happening here. Yes, he wants the physical, he talks about the physical, but the physical is only half of this situation. This song ia a clear ask for an emotional connection, and this includes sex. He's seeing the sexual relationship as more—intimacy, sharing vulnerabilities, stripping down. He wants everything from her. But she's too physical. He sees sex as part of an emotional connection. She sees sex as ...sex. He needs more, and she's not giving that to him. |
