Siouxsie and the Banshees – Forever Lyrics 10 months ago
@[beyonda:53199] So, with your tolerance, let me talk a little more about how it made me feel :) English is not my native language. Since I wrote these articles with a translator, there may have been some sentence errors. I apologize in advance for this.

Who knew that Siouxie, a weak and up-and-coming "punk" among the fan-friend group standing behind in an old television program where John Lydon and the newly known Sex Pistols were guests, would one day form a band and make such a song?

"Infinity stretches unlimitedly
Countless days pass by immeasurably
Anniversaries gutter in the maelstrom
Whorling a snowstorm of lustrous millennium"

This intro is already half of the song in my opinion. Do you remember your youth? The times when you were still young and had an "eternal" life ahead of you? Those days when no matter how much you smoke, you wake up with lungs made of steel, no matter how much alcohol you consume, you wake up completely renewed the next morning. The times when salt, fat, sugar, excitement and stress were just "movie of the day". If a black love that happens to you in these periods when you do not calculate the time and live without knowing what will happen to you tomorrow finds a reciprocal response, your unlimited time in your youth extends forever with that person. And "milestones" such as days, months, anniversaries are mixed in this love malestrom, sometimes without realizing how many days have passed and how far you have come.

This is a sign of well-being and trust. When a person sees that he (or she) is safe, after a while he tends to pay less attention to the events he attaches importance to. Even though it was stormy, he (or she) admits that when he(or she) lost his/her loved one forever through a sudden and traumatic separation, he/she was always worried about the fact that such a wonderful love would not last forever, and that he/she was always afraid of it (when she says "I've lost you for ever and ever" here, she is actually stubbornly referring to that "forever" period of her youth. In other words, even though she knows that her youth is now stubbornly does not want to accept that it is over). and establishes the introduction of the musical concept with the post-modern funeral march she wrote for her own lost love in her deep drunkenness. Towards the end, when the song moves into major tones, she says, as if trying to deceive herself, "I already knew this, but life goes on. What should we do?" It's like she's trying to put on a false optimism. But even feeling this is painful enough for the listeners.

As someone who lived through those periods and those violent loves, if I'm right in my thoughts (of course Siouxie knows it now), I immediately got the message after listening to the song a few times. I was amazed when I first listened to it, but it took me a few more listens for the lyrics to mean something to me.

As I said, it is a masterpiece that should be read like a book and thought about many times.

Ozzy Osbourne – Shot In The Dark Lyrics 11 months ago
I don't think this song is about an assassin wandering around at night. Although the lyrics are quite prone to that. In my opinion, the song belongs to someone walking around the streets at night with thoughts in their head. Up until now, they've been lulled and manipulated with lies... But now they'll see behind the curtain and live their life under their own control. They can barely breathe from the excitement of this or the anger of reaching the truth so late... Even though they don't believe in the nonsense told about God, and they don't live their life under anyone's guidance anymore, they still complain about a power constantly haunting them and intervening in their life one step ahead with "shots in the dark"...

Siouxsie and the Banshees – Forever Lyrics 2 years ago
Forever is one of the little-known but most valuable jewels of Siouxsie and the Banshees. Just like Israel and Arabian Nights, it is a masterpiece that appeals to all times in terms of its lyrics and musical concept.

The introduction to the song begins in the middle of being emotionally drunk and an unknown void. The effect, which resembles the sound of a constantly repeating car passing by, seems to depict a serious separation trauma that suddenly occurs. As the song progresses, this sound decreases and more soothing tones begin to be heard. A self-consolation process begins, the direction of which is unclear. Like the people who have mental problems, she constantly tries to tell herself that this great love has and should have a small place in the infinity of the universe, no matter how sad she is.

There is so much to write about this song. In fact, it is one of the most beautiful ballads of all time, although it may not be obvious.

Sting – It's Probably Me Lyrics 2 years ago
i think this song about a homeless and a little bit grumpy person. his ( or her) belly is empty, waking up in cold streets in huged himself/herself (you know, emriyonic position) and wearing someone else's maybe charity, maybe founded in trash coat. and he's (or she is) too proud to beg and too dumb to steal. but hunger is real.

for musical concept, it's very very fitted in lethal weapon title music because of michael kamen and eric clapton's style. but i can't say this for lyrics. but (again) maybe lyrics can represent to martin rigg's lonely life and rog (ask yourself, who could it be). nevertheless i love it in that movie :)
