@[evander:44780] I hear ya! We often think of Jerusalem in Israel. But the people of England embraced this poem and made it as an anthem for England. I think it wonderful. It makes me wish I lived in England, as I originally live in America. |

This song was really my favorite, given its melody and instrumental tones that gave me a feeling of being in an englanders evening, and what they were watching on the tube of things about the world. “So let’s skip the news boy, I’ll go make that tea. Blood on the Rooftops to much for me.” Classic Genesis.
Being from America; sometimes we don’t appreciate what others of another country are about in their day and life. Genesis gives us that look within. The Beatles often gave me those same England feels. |

One of my many favorites by Genesis. The lyrics really don’t have to have a special meaning. But this song is a tale of a mouses night, lurking in a house, until it runs into a cat , in the end, a monster mouse ten feet tall with teeth claws to match….” Is the cats end. What a song of imagination!
But this is why many of us love Genesis. Blood on the Rooftops gives me an England flavor. When you live in another country, you wonder how other peoples of other nations go about their evenings. This song gives that feeling |
