I think Sucker is about getting into a situation thinking it's one thing, say a party at a record executive's estate or something like that. Then as the evening wears on, she starts to think, "Oh, are these guys..." She sees them all eating spring rolls or tempura or something and shrugs off her suspicions. Maybe she starts to think, "oh, well even if they are... this.. this could be.. fun..." then... WHOOMP. There it is. Worse than she even thought it could be. "Holy... those rumors about... oh, no.. it must have been..." Then it gets worse. "Oh Holy holy..." Then someone sees the look on her face. You know the one. That look that says you can't unsee what you just saw and you can't hide your shock as you grab your bag and start walking hard at the door. The guy who saw the look whispers something to the guy who works for the guy who just did the thing. Then he whispers something to the guy who does other things for the guy. I'm talking about the guy who makes things... disappear. She's walking down the drive, looking for her cute little sports car. It's brand new. It's red. But she's... confused. Maybe they put something in her champers? Then she hears footsteps behind her, picking up speed. She's almost running now. The footsteps fall heavier. He's walks faster. What can you do if you don't have the breath control? |

| @[AoH:36928] 'EWF' means 'Ears with Feet'. That was how Tori used to refer to her listeners in the 90's because she didn't like the term 'fan' which denotes subservience, as in Cleopatra being carried as fans are waved at her, that kind of thing. Tori's more of an Arsinoe type, I'd say. | |

| "Will we be abandoned again?" We were never abandoned. They never stopped trying to help us. They're still here, trying to help us. Rome never fell. I'm 99.9% sure Zero Point is about the fall of the empire that is yet to come. We're almost there. Hang in there, EWF. | |
