| @[Xxxxkarinax:34551] "it" instead of "ot" and "you've got" I know there's probably some more typos and mistakes but that's hard to write such a long opinion with my phone so spare me:,) | |

In my opinion this song felt like it was referring to a long relationship that started to lose the "spark" in it, when you know you need to cut it off and do a "fast forward" but you can't let go of it. "Don't recognize myself anymore now" and "running in circles " is talking about how he slowly started to stop being himself, this relationship changed him and he's just running in circles. "You know it's gonna hurt some more" to fast forward the relationship and cut it off. So instead even if he's down he's refusing to be out and keep on trying to go back to what ot was by "pouring gasoline" to the fire that's always gone. You *played* your part I *played* mine means how they did everything they could and that's over. "I know you miss the old days the old days are gone everything you got isn't what you want" is the spark that was in the beginning and how they want to bring the old days back, but they're simple gone and everything they have now is not what they want. That's just my perspective of the song so some people might not agree but I still wanted to take my time to share it with you for the ones that'll think as I do and might like this analysis of mine Thank you for reading:) |
