The first part, a man in the west end town after a love heartbreak attempting to commit suicide. The second part seems to criticizes that the women is seen as merchandise (prostitution for example)... finally the third part attempts to release him from his need for woman and invites to try to build a future alone (at least, until he solves his problem).
The metaphors of east end boys and west end girls seems to make a parallel between the social gap (east => working class, west => rich part) and the effort required to form a relationship with a woman. |
