This is about him being physically, mentally and emotionally abused as a child-I know this to be true. "Since I know how low to go I won't let it show." The abuser knows not to leave marks that are visible-they are hidden under his clothes. "You're always talking back to me, you won't let it be." The child is being punished for talking back. "I finally found a reason, I won't need an excuse." Abusers always use excuses to blame the abused for what they do to them-in the abusers' mind they have one.. "I stand and I peel for more." The child stands and takes it-he has learned that succumbing is easier than fighting it. |
