Bush – Comedown Lyrics 4 years ago
This song is about time wasted with addiction and psychological paranoia of what the future holds without the drug to numb seemingly endless obstacles that now face him since he was dependent on the drug to do this for him. "All police are paranoid. So am I, so is the future, so are you a creature."
He realizes his time was spent trying to self medicate his issues, but contradictory to this, he realizes the drugs just created more problems and realizes he has wasted all his time blinding his reality. Now faced with reality, he is reluctant to not be dependent on drugs because he feels a fatalism with his past life as time wasted, and feels too impatient to solve his problems for the future. "Cause i dont want to come down from this cloud, it's taken me all this time to find out what i need." He is fighting himself to not commit suicide and to go on living his life. But he feels the consequences of coming off drugs will make him feel inadequate to take on the future since he felt safe in drugs in the feeling of drugs. Still he knows that he lived life only for the moment, and is trying not confuse the longevity of a living for the future as opposed to a short temporary existence. He has to therefore find a new self, but realizes the existential crises of trying to develop himself in a new world of a greater and more human existence he is unfamiliar with despite knowing it's likely there. "Who was there to take your place, no one knows, never will, mostly me and mostly you. It is a seemingly impossible task overcome himself despite that others show the possibility of living a happy and better life. Of he can overcome self-doubt, he can developed a truer since of reality and his world. For now, he feels the angst of knowing he must come off of drugs despite his reluctance to want to do so. This he knows is true, but he must decide whether or not he wants to live in truth or ignorance. At this point in the song, he is at crises of believing that ignorance is bliss if he were stay addicted, but that sobriety, although this would be his enlightenment, will only make him miserable since reality is so hard to bear from the issues he created with himself and his life after blinding himself for so long.

Chavez – Unreal Is Here Lyrics 5 years ago
I think this song is about sudden bursts of realization that we shouldn't forget because they are there for only that spark of a moment in time. It's about how one has procrastinated waiting for an answer and it when it finally hits her/him it sorta feels unreal because they're no longer in a state of the continuous search of thought without action. Life takes on new, brighter meaning but for such a sudden brief time you have to know its only real as the sudden moment in time allows you to briefly take grasp of it. The only thing you can do is when you do finally have the moment of clarity or higher reality or whatever it may be, you must not forget it, and you should hold on to that moment as long as you can, because these sudden sparks of epiphanies or feelings don't come around often. Hence, why these moments seem so unreal in comparison to the repetitive daily grind, and so whatever this sudden spark is, you need to save it into memory. Chavez sings at the end of the song "just take this with you."
