This is most OBVIOUSLY a struggle with anxiety/OCD/depression that Tyler likens to sipping on straight chlorine. The voice at the beginning is a dead givaway. He also references suicidal tendencies that he constantly struggles with. His life is a battle with his own mind that he finds solace in God for help with. i.e. "I love to hate the fight and you in my life is like (sipping on straight chlorine)" His struggles within himself and his own head are a common theme throughout his song writting. As a fellow sufferer of these issues the song speaks to those of us that have a constant battle with ourselves... |
