I just read a review where the writer called this an"Anti Trump anthem"....I don't know if that's his interpretation but AIC has never,that I know of made blatant political songs.. most likely it has several layers of subjective meaning.
To me it's referencing drugs, religion,fame, all things people worship until they live it or live through it.
I know Jerry is Athiest,this song gives me Devil Put Dinasaurs Here vibes,but,just my interpretation. |
