Being two-faced, stealing other people's ideas, passing them off as your own it just blindly following fashion to keep in with the "right" crowd. A scathing song about people who lack any ideas of their own but who get successful off the backs of others. One of my absolute favourites. |

Could just be that one party is a complete asshole who genuinely doesn't care what the partner needs or wants or how much the other person gets hurt. The other person should get out. Otherwise it sounds like the protagonist has given up trying to please someone who just can't be pleased at all. They should both get out. |
