| I really like this song. I think it’s really about the break up of a relationship. Perhaps a relationship that he stayed in too long. There is some clues that the relationship went on too long, as he talks about the time that’s been stolen, and him carrying her, which I interpreted as meaning that he was carrying the relationship for both of them. The song ends by analogy that others believe that he may have made a mistake , But I don’t believe that the singer believes that that’s the case | |
