In my opinion the song could have multiple meanings to multiple people - (Which is always good for sales!) - For example "Sting" was taken aback when a couple had an opportunity to meet him and told him "Every breath you take" Was "THEIR" song; (thinking it was a love song) Until Sting revealed the lyrics were actually about a "Former ex-lover, becoming a disgruntled and obsessed STALKER!" In the Brother Cane video: It appeared to me that they were playing in and around a huge "Tesla Sphere" (You've all seen the small decorative electrical glass spheres) Years ago physisist/and engineer known for designing the "alternating-current"(AC) electric system - still used across the world today, Nikola Tesla had been famous for an experiment dealing with electromagnetism,' "A global wireless system which could have supplied everyone with free and wireless electricity throughout the world. But needed funding. He finally received funding from a financial group of investors including financial giant J.P. Morgan. In the 1800s Tesla began building a lab with a power plant and a massive transmission tower on a site on Long Island,New York. It Was financially abandoned by many investors who also had large stocks in "Fossil fuel" industries destined to make a LOT more $$$ for many years to come. So he was forced to abandon it,(suddenly daunted with potential doubts, dangers, etc...) and sell it for scrap. If there's any doubt to if it would have eventually worked...turn on your radio...try your cell phones etc... (Then again...could be about God like everyone else thinks.) |
