It says that the lyric was edited by me on the lower description above, I did send in a correction but the one shown is not what I sent in. I have since bought this album and notice that these are the lyrics that are in the lyric book. They do not, however match what he is singing in the actual track. Those of us Morten fans are well aware that he tends to forget lyrics, sometimes I've noticed him change them from time to time ( there is a line in Take on Me that I have heard him sing 3 different ways...), whether on the fly or planned, I don't know but this is the first time they changed between the recording and the printing of the booklet, LOL Love him anyway, he is so amazing. I really do Love this song, I don't even understand why, I mean, it's a great song but it just hit me right in the gut when I heard it. My Favorite one of all his songs. |

I saw an interview with Pal earlier today and he pretty much confirms that it is about a guy that killed his girlfriend/wife and is talking to her afterwards. The interviewer says, "It's about a guy singing to a corpse" and he doesn't dispute that. He says he doesn't know what the excuse for the lyric is, and that maybe he was reading too much Frank Kafka. |

I think at this part=You don't have to turn something in
He is saying--" You don't have to Pencil it in."
I don't know for sure so I won't do an official Correction, but I have been listening to this song a lot and I have never been convinced it was "Turn Something In"
I was watching the acoustic version on a vid of one of the last shows in Oslo and it suddenly came to me that it sounds more like "pencil it in". |

@[seira70:25268] -that video is really strange. I'm not sure if it's the same girl but all 3 are murdered, Morten in the tub (I think it was a hair dryer that they pulled out of the water) and then Pal shot in the head and Magne in the freezer |

In the 1994 concert in Johannesburg, Morten says that "This is a song to get married or divorced to" I see it as more of the "Divorced part, that they are breaking up or on the verge and he is trying to get some of the good times back. |

@[Ant292:25111] - in the unplugged version he does say "senseless" but all the other ones "it is sense of". Morten seems to do that sometimes, I have heard one line in Take on Me 3 different ways, LOL |

@[traincollector:25083] Well, they must like each other again because they are back together since 2015 with a new album (a great one IMO), the Unplugged show/CD and finishing the 2nd tour and will be starting another one in the summer since then. |
