I also have a fascination with serial killers and there have been many songs about them over the last 60 years. The quintessential tune is of course " Psyco Killer" by the Talking Heads. I myself have written several songs about the serial / psycho killer and I hope to get into the studio soon. BUT... the point about these people is that when we are fortunate enough to capture one of these nutjobs and actually bring one to trial, of course there's the state's obligation to render justice upon him, BUT... there's a very rare opportunity to examine him. To perform psychological tests and actually PROBE into the damaged brain by the use of MRI photographs as well CAT scans and a polygraph machine . The point here is we could have learned a lot about the way these type of people process information and the environmental factors that led up to the GRUSOME BIZZARE acts that he committed. If we can learn what really goes on in the brain/mind of a SICK person like Dahmer, we just might discover a treatment plan which could eventually lead to a CURE for these BROKEN MINDS !!! Granted, the psych ward in the maximum security prison is not vacation, just look at what happened to him when he was thrown into the general population at a state prison. Some OTHER inmate stabbed him to death just to earn some respect/fear from his fellow prisoners! What a WASTE of a perfect specimen of research and discovery xXxX ○●□■♤♡◇♧~☆▪£°. Google Dr. Henry Berlin's testimony from the trial and you'll see how badly he wanted to continue working with Dahmer to discover, in his words... | ENO is a great lyricist and an even better song writer. His music has changed the way I approach music as well as musicians. I really liked him in Roxy Music but I LOVE his solo work as well as his compilations with Harold Buds and Robert Fripp! I don't know if we'll see a mind like ENO' s in the near future! | |
