00:01 Figure draped in black is suspended from ceiling by two black cables representing technology of the past being dependent upon wires. 00:07 Cables disappear as man walks closer representing the fact that modern technology is stand-alone and needs no tether. 00:10 The figure begins to emit light as the man removes the black cloth covering the figure representing the idea that it is a living being. The man throws the black cloth to the ground and approaches the figure in a stern manner representing the idea that he is in charge. He knows he is working with something unknown and un-tested. 00:14 Once the cloth is removed you will see that the figure is wearing a black robe. This figure represents the evil which is inherent in artificial intelligence. It is expression-less due to the fact that it has no emotions. 00:18 you see an android face with warning signs affixed on the cheeks representing the fact that what they are assembling is potentially dangerous. 00:23 The android is being assembled by robot arms, such as are used in auto-assembly plants. It is important to note that the robots assembling the android are capable of only simple tasks, such as up, down, in, out, etc... 00:28 The robot arm on the left inserts a small tube with a lighted probe into the back of the android. 00:31 The android leans back and then forward as the eyes change from black to blue. 00:38 and again at 00:50 you will see that the android is looking at, and is aware of the robot tools used to create it. 01:30 The android looks at it's hands as it becomes self-aware. 01:36 The finished android is standing looking forward as if half-aware. Man's pride is what has led man to attempt to create artificial intelligence, without regard to the dangers. 02:18 The man checks his watch, as if to say we are running out of time. 02:20 The man is looking at his creation with the more human-like head attached. 02:24 Android sitting on table covered in black spikes as dress form on stand comes into view on left. The android in black spikes represents the idea that she is a weapon. 02:29 The man rests his arm on the dress form as he contemplates the fact that this android could be used as a weapon. 02:39 The android curiously approaches the peacock and extends her hand to it as the man watches. 02:43 The peacock turns away representing the idea that nature rejects any attempt at artificial intelligence. 02:45 The android is in a chamber being fed huge amounts of data through cables coming from the eight white computer looking boxes surrounding her. There are many other black computers in the background. 02:50 Energy can be seen jumping from the cables into the bottom of the chamber. 02:52 The android is now self aware, and also aware of the fact that she was created by humans, not simple robots. 02:54 Crystals begin to grow on the androids chest as well as on the floor all around her. Seconds later she is covered in blue crystals. The crystals represent the idea that humans evolved from crystalline DNA. 03:07 The man is looking at his finished creation. 03:15 2 Androids are being programmed in tubes in the background. 03:18 The 3 androids are exploring and becoming aware of their environment. 03:26 An android holding and android arm appears to the left. This represents the android's ability to build more androids themselves without the assistance of humans. 03:33 The man is trimming black feathers from the androids dress. He trims one off and tosses it to the ground.This represents removing the imperfections of the past. 03:51 The dress form has been laid down. This represents the fact that it is no longer useful. 03:55 The man is standing in a room filled with scores of androids representing the idea that man will be outnumbered by androids which are self aware and as human as you or me.. 04:02 the man and the android are standing together representing the ultimate union of man and machine. she is leaning on his shoulder to represent the idea that she now has emotion. She is a machine which has been given self-awareness by the addition of the same crystalline DNA that created us. He is content knowing that he created a being which mirrors our own state of being, half human-half machine. We are dependent upon technology but technology is no longer dependent upon us. In the future Intelligent androids with human DNA will build even more intelligent androids, let's just hope that they have empathy for us. |
