They played this song at a funeral (inside a church) of a friends funeral. It brought everybody to tears and had such an emotional effect. Tragically the friend committed suicide. I grew up in a small city in northern Manitoba (Thompson) where the hip was everything so the song, and the band meant so much more to us. My hair is tingling just thinking about it. |

Thompson Manitoba's main employer is a nickel mine and as you enter the community the tall nickel stack is to your left. The girl in question dated the drummer for a period of time. |
