Not sure about the rest of the song but to me I interpret the line "That's me in the spotlight" as being under pressure to say or do something and then "losing my religion" is starting to collapse and lose composure due to the pressure and "I don't know if I can do it Oh no I've said too much" I can really relate to, under pressure I just totally struggle and start to doubt myself as I struggle to find the right words or I say way too much and make things weird "I haven't said enough" is also a problem, I say too little and then there's more that is expected but I just end it awkwardly in silence. |
