I laugh at / feel bad for the majority who believes the surface description of anything in music. 99 times in 100, there's a fully constructed depth and meaning behind the lyrics of a spotlight band like Black Sabbath. These are the unseen architects, creating the bridges and halls of our minds. Taking any of it at a surface value, is but admiring the wood grain of a Cathedral door never opened. I was truly beginning to wonder if I was alone in the world, with these understandings. |
