I remember a song that had the line "we know the night belongs to lovers" not sure if this is it I don't se the we part, but I will comment anyway.
The night does not belong to lovers alone. There is a man a gentle looking mid western man. The man had a bad habit where he murdered a few women and wore the skin as a mask (not a texas chainsaw looking man, but a gentle looking man like I said). Today he spends his days in a quite and peaceful midwestern asylum, but every full moon they let his soul roam free. The mans name was ed gen and every full moon the night also belongs to him. |

There are those that stand in the light and sing "we shall overcome" and there are those that march out of the darkness beat there drums and chant "if your happy and you know it and you really want to show it, if your happy and you know it go to hell". I think those that find there spirit in the sky are always called back over and over again to serve and stand in the light to there dismay. And I think those that find there spirit in hell are always quite glad to be called to server over and over again and march out of hell to oppose those that stand in the light. I believe and I hope it will always be that way as long as there is a heaven and a hell.
Why should suffering, happiness reward and punishment be anything but equal for all creatures. Actions, Consequences, Repenting and reaping what you sow should be meaningless except as for the glue that holds it all together an illusion. Due what though will shall be the whole of the law if fairness and justice rains supreme. On the day that will never come the tally of suffering, happiness reward and punishment for all creatures from the beginning that never was to the day that will never come will be read back to all creatures and it will be found that the tally are all equal. |

of course i could die and be no more and that would be pretty good as long as when that happens i have no complaints (what is it to be no more?). resting in piece would be pretty good but if life is endless then i sure a lot of people have to agree to allow someone to rest in piece (they have to wake up dead ancestors to make room for someone else) so thats ruled out for me. you say eat shit and die and that is maybe why 58 some people died the other day. why not let that asshole gun man rest in piece at let one of your better ancestors take his place. of course you and i don't know but maybe someone does |

what so important about being an adult what shit do you have to take. you never went threw a holocaust. someone said something you didn't like. you saw someone treating someone else in a way you didn't like. it seems to me the lead singer is the most angry in the video anyway. what pissed him of was some one mean to his grandmother or father or something. when i first heard the song years ago i thought just another song about a bad relationship. but more and more i think even if they don't know it it's an attack on all the to put them in one category psyhco paths. |

The foo fighters they took there name from the world war 2 ufos that air men said they saw. They are chanting there victory over hitler. They are speaking to hitler weather they know it or not. Hitler was a small man with a big mouth and the foo fighters are shouting there victory out. "I never wanted any more then I could fit in side my head" hitler wanted everything he wanted perfection for himself and no threats in order to get that which is impossible he needed to have everything inside his head. I have heard it said by some that heaven is today, heaven was yesterday and heaven is tomorrow, if that is true you could say that heaven was never good enough for hitler, you might even say that hitler was to good for heaven. I think edie vedar is very talented (all you good humans are, if your a lord of the rings fan and read the history of the silmareians all the elves, the good ones, were masters of one craft or another). In fact i am not a homo-sexual but when I look at him I think he's a handsome fellow and good hearted probably (except to poor old hitler). The only problem is if you lock me and another human in a room for a hour we become sworn enemies. And then there are songs like this one that don't make me happy, but make me think about myself. If being an edie vedar, pearl jam fan gave you a hadeace all the time would you still listen. My thinking is this is about a doomed soul. Who will live his live over and over again. Perhaps the first part of his life was not that bad but through bad living it became bad, the soul became homeless. "Some day yet hell begin his life again, life again". When he says life again twice it makes me think he is mad about the doomed soul getting to live his live again at least the first good part.
I often wonder that the true meaning of songs are what they mean to you. The universe with a God or Godless is sending you messages. Perhaps if there is a God and angles (Good and bad) rock & roll, jazz, R&B, metal, punk, hip hop and such are really songs the angles sang before God sad "let there be light". |
