Susan Enan – Bring On The Wonder Lyrics 9 years ago
I do not believe that she is speaking about a relationship with a person but rather a relationship with God. Evidence can be seen for this in that she states "we got it all wrong, we pushed you down...."

I think she is stating that from her current position in life she is too busy for the relationship with God that she has pushed down deep in her soul for too long. From her current place, she cannot see the stars. At the end of the road that she has travelled, she fell through the cracks. So she has been saying let's go to a place a new location where she can see the stars and appreciate the Wonder of creation and be brought to song... All of which is metaphorical for praise.

She states that she has been too busy to drink from the cup. The cup in Judaism and in Christianity is references many times. Ie.

"I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord” (Psalm 116:13).

For me, I think it's rather clear that she is simply stating that her life has been too busy, too hectic, and that she has pushed God down in her soul for too long. This is a call for herself and for the world in general to return to a place of Wonder and praise at the awe of God.
