hmm well I agree with all of the drug references...initially I thought it was about some dysfunctional kid...werent we all(especially if we love elliott), but in particular, the line "you oughta be proud that Im getting good marks", to me suggests the marks found on herion users where they shoot up. I think its a particularly meloncholy song, scary and beautiful. |

this song is about and features Ian(o){drummer}, its about a relationship that broke up with a girl he used to date(love?), so from the lyrics I gather she was pretty ruthless, and I think i remember ollie saying she was a bitch at a gig in the tbmc(cant be certain tho), you should see the smile on Iano's face when we all sing the lyrics back to him(because Ollie gets us to!) the guy has the biggest smile on his face, and you can only but think, what a silly bitch, because the band will be huge, and he is dead good looking! so...IANO IANO IANO |

This song is about the time Ollie(singer) got electrocuted after fiddlin' bout with his amp. zzzzz zzzzzz sizzle, the poor fella got fried, but I think I remember him saying that it has inspired him to write some songs, but for certain this one. However, I find that with alot of Turn songs, there appears to be a certain uneasy element of a relationship that soured, they are pure genius. Oh and they "rock like dirty bastards!".
