The song was written at what became Steve Howe's house in Devon, where The Yes Album was created. It has a special quality of the Devon landscape for me, since I live in Devon too - morning mist and deep green. |

@[tinderbox:16964] I too have find the Yessongs live version uplifting and moving. Jon Anderson is a big Sibelius fan so you may be right about the influence. There is a new official live version on Like It Is - Live at the Bristol Hippodrome, which feels smaller and less ambitious but still has extra energy compared to the studio version. |
