It's all about hypocrisy... The Communists raved on about how avant garde their society was and how decadent, corrupt and oppressive ours here in the west was when in reality, it was much worse on the other side of the wall. At least on our side, the Pistols had the freedom to critique the system, not so behind the Iron Curtain. |

@[a_fake_plastic_tree:15273] Mustaine punched Hetfield for kicking his dog. It's true that Dave's wild drinking and drug use contributed to his expulsion but I also believe that Hetfield was jealous of Mustaine's playing and knew that he couldn't intimidate Mustaine like he could the others. There were a lot of egos there too. Dave was always going to lose out as it was all about Hetfield and Lars, he was a hired hand, not a founding member. |
