The lyrics was wrong as far as 'Feels like time is on my time', it is 'If I die before my time' followed by 'Bury me upside down' which the meaning to that is suicide. It's a posthumous punishment to bury someone upside down if they take their own life. So Kaivan is completely wrong with his assessment on what he thinks the song is about. Yes, it's about love but it's also about pain. The fact she didn't feel pain or shame was because she was in love, and now she is not. Hence 'Now I know why' afterwards. This song is about having true love and then loosing it and feeling so crippled by that she is considering taking her own life and being married to the sky. |
