Aqualung – Strange And Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You) Lyrics 7 years ago
This reminds me of the TV show 13 Reasons Why. A perfect fit for Clay and Hannah.

The Cars – You Might Think Lyrics 9 years ago
I actually think that this song is written from the perspective of a guy who is in love with a girl in depression. The girl has problems with her self-esteem and self-confidence so she thinks that this guy is crazy for loving her. The girl has an emotional breakdown when this guy, her best friend as weel as her boyfriend, was with her. But they guy knows her so well that he can understand her feelings, she tries to escape from reality and she has some pessimistic even suicidal thoughts(ı know you're weaj/ you think youre in the movies/everythings so deep). But the guy doesn't leave her because he is in love with her, he makes the girl smile, a fragile smile. This guys affection for this girl is so much that although he is hurt while trying to help her(there is no escape without a scrape) he didn't leave her. The refrain part of the song focuses on the feeling's of the girl, she thinks that the boy is crazy for not leaving this problematic girl. The guy sees her to be perfect no matter what happens.

Coldplay – Hymn for the Weekend Lyrics 10 years ago
Coldplay... They have always been a legendary band for me. They have meaningful and poetic lyrics, emotional songs as well as a conceptual style. Or maybe I should say they used to have. When I first heard this song on the radio I thought it was pretty good and I'd soo get addicted to it. I tagged it only to find out it was a Coldplay song. First I couldn't believe this was Coldplay's because it's so out of style and so pop that I thought Coldplay couldn't have become a superficial band like this. And the real dissapointment was when I checked the lyrics. Remebering the times I had a great time analyzin'Clocks's lyrics I was broken apart with the song's superficial lurics about money, drugs and drinks: stuff that only unqualified artists sing about. To sum up, I hope that Coldplay will realize that they have a lot of fans even if they don't become a band whi make music for the sake of money, not for the sake of art and emotions.

BØRNS – Electric Love Lyrics 10 years ago
One of my favorite recent songs, this song is about the state of being in love with someone. Although his love is platonic as "all I need is to be struck by your electric love", he is still happy and his every part feels in love with her. He thinks her every night and these thoughts are so loud that he can't ignore them. The references to electricty in this song is actually a metaphor. He doesn't want to loose love (lightning in a bottle) after all those time he spent searching it. Electricity's property of strucking is a property that love also has so just like electricty strucks people, intense feelings towards this girl also have strucken him.

Fitz & the Tantrums – Spark Lyrics 10 years ago
Although this song is a great listen it's not poetic. But we still can use only one word can explain this song very well:rebellion. They have been "diggin holes" but now a spark lightened their hopes and will to "take the throne". When they realize that they are in control insted of being lead, their years of tension transforms into an urge to to imply violence."Don't they know this building is going to blow?" To sum up, this song is about a group of people who are feeling powerful as they are now the leader instead of being the slave.
