"You will never know what's behind my skull/ You will never know what's under my hair/ You will never know what's under my skin/ You will never know what is in my veins" reminds me of a kid talking about their parent(s) because most kids feel like their parents don't understand them. "So won't you say goodnight so I can say goodbye" this is the kid and they're suicidal so they are waiting for their parents to say goodnight so they can stay in their room and harm/ kill themselves. |

"now the night is coming to an end / the sun will rise and we will try again" he is talking about a friend he has that is suicidal and he's trying to help him stay alive. and sometimes his friend relapses so he has to keep trying to help him. "i will fear the night again / i hope i'm not my only friend" when tyler goes back home or away from his friend he has a constant fear that his friend is going to end his life. they are also tyler's only friend, so if he dies, he will have no friends. "you will die, but now your life is free / take pride in what is sure to die" this is why it's a truce. he's telling his friend that if he does die, he doesnt have to live with his problems but he has to decide if his life is that bad or if his problems are too big in order for him to kill himself. |

| i think tyler's grandfather died when he was young because the adults are telling him that he lost his mind but in reality, the grandfather had mental illnesses (depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc.) so he killed himself. | |
| Twenty One Pilots – Oh, Ms. Believer Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| I agree with the comments above but i have noticed one thing about the title: oh, ms. believer is a pun for oh, mis-believer so it just further shows that she doesnt believe him when he says he loves her. | |

| Twenty One Pilots – Glowing Eyes Lyrics | 10 years ago |

I think "someone at the door" is his responsibilities and they need attention, but he wants to stay in his state of depression, as he refers to as "glowing eyes." He knows that he should be happy and that he is completely capable, but he wants to stay depressed. And I think he's saying that if he gets a little less depressed, he'll try to stay the most depressed as possible, so he'll play a sad song "for the eyes to sing along" or in other words, stay depressed. I think he's also saying that he knows people that are happy and their life is way better than his, so he get jealous and would rather think of ways to take his life than to think about how much better their life is than his life. |

| @[LindRawr:7507] I agree, but I also think that when he talks about his tree house, he's talking about his dreams and goals. But then when he says that it's on fire and he has gas on his hands, I think he's saying that he thinks that the goals and dreams are childish and he is never going to accomplish them, so he destroyed them, like in We Don't Believe What's On TV from Blurryface when he says "We have all learned to kill our dreams." | |

| @[fr0st2k:7506] I agree 100% and I think it's a really clever way to ask about opinions of his songs. | |
| Twenty One Pilots – Fairly Local Lyrics | 10 years ago |

So when he says "I’m evil to the core, what I shouldn't do I will. They say I’m emotional. What I wanna save I’ll kill. Is that who I truly am? I truly don’t have a chance. Tomorrow I’ll keep a beat and repeat yesterday’s dance" I think that it`s Blurryface taking him over, saying that he doesn't have a chance and that he isn't certain with himself and that he wants to repeat the bad things he's done. But when he says "I’m not evil to the core, what I shouldn't do I will fight. I know I’m emotional. What I wanna save I will try. I know who I truly am, I truly do have a chance. Tomorrow I’ll switch the beat to avoid yesterday’s dance" he is bringing himself back to his senses and he wants to fight Blurryface so he gets better and avoids doing things wrong, if possible. And when he says "Even if my clique were to pick and the people were to vote, it’s the few, the proud, and the emotional. Yo, you, bulletproof in black like a funeral. The world around us is burning but we’re so cold, it’s the few, the proud, and the emotional" he means that whoever listens to his songs and follows him is different and stands out. Even if they seem normal, they are different on the inside. |

| Twenty One Pilots – Kitchen Sink Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| Tyler once said in an interview about this song that it is about thinking about what the point in life is and why we are all here and the reason why "a kitchen sink to you is not a kitchen sink to me" is, Tyler said, something happened to him at a kitchen sink, like he realized something very important in that moment at a kitchen sink. he did not specify what happened but i feel like it was something personal, for example, the point for his life. | |
