I like your interpretation. I have to think of people who want to cheer you up while you're being depressed. They don't really get how it's like and say things like: 'you just have get out more' and 'meet your friends' and 'listen to happy songs'. He sings about accepting the help but they don't really know how they can help him. |

It could be about a person who isn't good for you. You really love him/her but at the same time he/she doesn't care a bit about you.
But since Oli said most songs of this album are about his addiction I this this 'person' is just a metaphor for the drugs. |
