I'd say that this song is about suicidal depression, pure and simple. Every like basically contributes to this, and the band are like a group of friends that can stop a person from taking their own life. The song is basically reassuring the listener that things will be okay, and that they will do their best to help. The spirits and wolves represent psychosis, hearing voices, and ones ability to hurt oneself. Slipping away indicates quietly offing oneself. Weight is the depression. Also, I'd say that the music video is somehow related - suggesting perhaps there are things to live for, such as dat booty twerkin. |
