Incredible... This song reminds me of city drives, clear days on the brink of haziness and being in a car on the way to boarding school, sitting in complete silence with my parents, no longer able to talk in the same way. Like many Go-betweens songs, it feels like a subtle loss of innocence, being both angry and wise, living under cloudy skies. A love lost, yet so close by. |
