on your breath" but what i think it means is: ok you know the saying "you'll get your medicine" or something like that. Well the saying means you'll get what you did to me. So i think the "familar medicine" is the same old shit that whoever has been spreading around and is eventually gonna get back. That's pretty much a round-about way of saying I agree w/ MarshmallowSilk.

Ok for the people who knows he's not serious-props to you. For all the people who said this song's crap, killing people is bad etc. Have you even listen to any of his other songs, or mabey your just lacking in the gray area? They said yah that's probably only because he's white. I was offended and said no that's not it at all. Eminem isn't like any other rapper, apart from being white. well i think supersprm is totally arrogant and he's missed the point. Sure to some it may be about sex and all, to some shallow people. If you hadn't noticed brandon doesn't have many gfs so it's not exactly 4 a certain person, just some1 he's wishing to be there, like imagining that person there and what it would be like if she were. It's more about having that person's prescence there with you and the feeling u get from it "how do you do it, make me feel like i do". Actually Harry, I think I got a totally different meaning from this song. You said that it says "we shouldn't be victims of bad things that happen to us". Well i think it's saying the opposite, that we are to blame and maybe if he had cared more and tried to not be so pesimistic than things mighta went his way, at least maybe a little more towards his. Maybe I am wrong but I find all of incubus' song wonderfully meaningful wheather i relate or not, all except the instrumentals that is (no lyrics, no meaning to me, or at least until i learn to play an instrament). Oh and don't get me wrong dj kilmore and all the others are bad ass when it comes to jaming, but Brandon has a poetic phenomena with words. Wow that's long. |
