I think this song is about a person seeing every one they know living a life they couldn't bear to live. They see every one around them Lose there joy and fade away into nothing. Even though this person knows staying were they are will eat them away or make them burn on the inside they also know there isn't a good chance of them being able to servive any were else. I think it's a song about being traped and your only hope is barely hope it's just a slim shot. |

I don't know to me this song is about some one seeing a life being lived bye others that they couldn't stand to live. To me they are seeing the lives and joy of others fading without so much as good by and realizing life will be no different for them if they don't get out. Even through all this they see even if they do get out there is no real hope of making it. So I guess you could relate it to a feeling of being hopelessly traped. |
