Ke$ha – Dancing With Tears In My Eyes Lyrics 10 years ago

I really like your interpretation and perception of this song. Yeah, you may be absolutely right about how she feels all of the guilt from sacrificing things that are way more precious, than fame and fortune. I always like Ke$ha's music, because it is so much fun usually, but this song was sad, and showed her as a human with mistakes. Regardless of what the true meaning of the song is about, this song made me have a respect for her that I did not have before, because admitting a struggle such as in this song, has to come from her true feeling. It also shows that, since she is now a rich celebrity, she has regret and may have lost a love one or ones, because of her lifestyle change. I do believe in what you are getting at with famous pop singers selling their souls for their fame and fortune. I don't have the same respect for the other individuals who have done this kind of metamorphosis into being famous, as I do for Ke$ha. This is only because of this song, and how she went to rehab for her bulimia (encouraged by her manager), and also is fighting her manager legally in order to gain some control in her life. Thankfully, her mother is behind her fully, and I always think of what my deceased love, "A mother is God, in a child's eyes.". I wish her the best, and really enjoyed your interpretation/perception, because I agree that the lyrics may indeed mean exactly what you have said. Your perception made more sense than many other's posts, so I just wanted to let you know, I appreciate those who are able to understand a song and lyrics past the obvious words that are plain as day written in the song.

Thank You

Ke$ha – Dancing With Tears In My Eyes Lyrics 10 years ago
This song was written from her feelings at the time this incident had occurred. Yes, she feels guilt and admits her mistakes openly. But the part that gets me is when these lyrics play: "I'm losing it
With every move I die, I'm faded, I'm broken inside, (I've wasted the love of my life), I'm losing it, With every move I die" maybe she feels like she is lost without her other half, and needs that person to fix her broken heart. But then when her lyrics say this: "This is it and now you're really gone this time (oh), Never once thought I'd be in pieces left behind.", I can't help but to think she has lost her soulmate or true love life. She never got to make any kind of peace, or apologize for the wrong she has done. Typically, Kesha will write all the foul things about the guys in her songs, which is probably embarrassing an causes the guy her other songs are about to feel super ridiculed. Which when she sings a song written for anyone, she sings to them and about them as if she knows they are going to hear whichever song. In this song she is not singing to an individual who is no longer living, she feels so broken, lost, confused, and says every move she dies, sounds like when she lost him, he had her broken pieces that only her one true love can fix. If you don't agree, it's cool. But, I just love the song and wanted to put my perception of the songs.
