The idea I get from this song is that its about a older woman with dementia/alzheimer's. Shes been moved to a care home as she can't care for herself anymore "They brought me here 'cause I can't take care" The old woman hates people leaving but she will forget them so it will be like the last time she see's them. But looking into their eyes is the only thing that brings back memories. "'Cause I hated when you walk outside that door 'Cause I know I won't ever see your eyes" When it talks about how she hates how people are 'gone away so far' this is because she has lost her mind and memories, they have disappeared from her mind. Just my thoughts! |
