| The only line i can find symbolism in in this song is: "we have to get in to get out". To me, that's saying Rael has to go to the deepest level of the dreamworld (the colony) to be able to emerge to the real world. A classic story of descent and ascent. That opening is of course the one depicted in "The Light Dies Down On Broadway". But instead, Rael chooses to sacrifice himself and go after the "red line" of the story, John. And in the end he realizes that what he's been searching for the whole time is the whole of life itself. | |

"It is chicken, it is eggs, It is in between your legs." I think that IT is life itself, and as Rael is in a state of metamorphosis and is becoming one with IT, he's trying to describe the unfathomable entity of life itself, as he is becoming it. Hence: "It is Real. it is Rael." The Knock and Knowall to me sounds like Hide and Seek or some kind of child's game, and Rael and John truly does seem to play a surreal game of cosmic Hide and Seek. |
