| @[samanthajp:12644], I like your interpretation but how would you interpret the chorus though? | |

I agree with davidicus's correction of the lyrics. I think this song is about a couple, in which one of the partners is asking for more excitement in the relationship. The song is sung by the second partner, who's trying to explain his interpretation of acting more wild and spontaneous (more crazy), and basically is saying to his/her partner that they don't really know what's that all about, how to achieve it, and what effects it could lead to: "Baby, so you think you know crazy I think you know what you know, But what you know you don't know for sure Baby, you wanna see me crazy Well I show you what that's like, And then I wave goodbye as you run for your life" The chorus is where the singer explains to his/her partner how to provoke excitement (aspiring fires). He/she is saying that you have to get a little wild and work for it. It's not something you can achieve just by looking it up on google. You have to put some effort in to it (just like with starting a real fire - nice metaphor). "A little advice for aspiring fires You'll get put out if you don't get a little wild Try again, try again, get it right, you don't got to Google it just to lose you mind You're not gettin' it right, ayee ayee yeah" He/she than continue to emphasize how being crazy is not something to achieve by sitting around watching TV all day: "Maybe, you're watching too much TV, (ooh) Because crazy in the box, is everything that crazy's not" The bridge is where the singer has finely "lost his mind" and is now loose and spontaneous like a fire, and he/she is not just talking about it like their partner is: "I'm losing my mind again Now a fires a friend Not to try to feel you're crazy" |
