Paper Route – Rabbit Holes Lyrics 11 years ago
I think the song is about someone who no longer really wants to be in a relationship, but he's trying to convince himself that he still loves her. He says "I'll always follow you" but he never follows her down her "rabbit holes", so clearly he is only trying to convince himself that he's as dedicated to her as he claims. And at the end of the song he finally acknowledges that he wants to fall down his own rabbit holes without her. I know there's more to this song that I'm leaving out, especially with the "main event" (the masquerade of their relationship maybe?) but I can't figure out exactly how to articulate that part, so I'll leave that to someone else...

Snow Patrol – Little Hide Lyrics 11 years ago
I definitely agree with that, especially with the music video. The obsessive fidgeting in the middle, and the expressions and the colors and the grapes on the floor, it's all really creepy and gritty and definitely feels stalkerish and obsessive. There's actually pretty much a stalker wall of pictures too.

Morning Parade – Headlights Lyrics 11 years ago
My interpretation of the song is that it's about a really one-sided relationship where he would do anything for her (just say jump and I'll say "how high?") but she's not very emotionally invested in him at all (you're steady as I come undone). Even while he's falling apart, he's worried about letting her down, and keeping his promises to her. It also seems like she's using him to some extent, because she knows how enamored he is with her, and knows he'll do anything for her (I am the beckon to your call.) That's his predictability, that he can't say no to her, and even though he seems to be aware on a conscious level that she's not really invested, and that she's using him, he is too wildly blindly in love with her to even care.
