| Blue Öyster Cult – She's As Beautiful As A Foot Lyrics

No clue what the song is about. But always loved how it was the "closer" to every BOC show I saw (6 or 7 times--it's a little fuzzy) After the encore, She's As Beautiful As a Foot would come on as the lights came up. It was the signal to try and move toward an exit. |

This has always been one of my favorite Aerosmith songs since I bought Get Your Wings when it first came out. The meaning is pretty obvious...but one side note: Lord of the Thighs is also a take off on the novel title "Lord of the Flies". |

Not sure exactly what the song is all about, but when I listen to these lyrics, I get the feeling Dylan somehow inspired them. They have the visual imagery of a Dylan song with the misfit characters and chaos. Anyway, always have loved the tune... |

| Levon Helm – Growing Trade Lyrics

Am I the only one who thinks this song is about growing dope? After years of hard times, this farmer realizes he can only make it by augmenting his crop selection with a more profitable grow. I see the lines "...I guess he'd wonder where's the dignity, In a crop you raise to burn", referring to marijuana as being raised to burn. And feds circling with helicopters sort of is self explanatory. Just my hunches... |

| Jimmy Buffett – Cliches Lyrics

Always thought this was an underrated Buffett tune. When my best friend turned 30, we had a surprise birthday party for him. They had a poster of some sort that everyone signed best wishes on. Without a second thought, I wrote:
"She's 86'd from the Chart Room
He's 29 and pushin' 30 real fast"
Seemed appropriate from one huge Buffett fan to another... |

This has always been my favorite Keen tune and he never fails to play it live in concert. At least he did the 5 or 6 times I have seen him. Always wondered how much of this story is true...whether it is about him and his brother or maybe two other people he knows. |

| Charlie Daniels Band – Uneasy Rider Lyrics

Agree Law4, this is one of the funniest and most clever stories ever told. It is always a pleasure to hear it and managed to catch him do it live a couple times.
Always wondered if Charlie meant to mess up the count of rednecks. Originally it was "five big dudes, one old drunk chick and some fella with green teeth" = 7. Then later it's "'Specially when there was three of them and only one of me". It was either an oversight or it sounded better saying 3 instead of 7. Only Charlie probably knows...or not! |

If you listen very carefully to the last 50 seconds or so of the song, you can clearly hear the words "smoke dope" being sung in the background several ttimes. |
