The lyrics remind me of Epica's lyrics... but these were written by Floor, not by Mark Jansen so it could be just coincidence. Anyway, this song is obviously about dreams, and about how we can create our reality in our dreams... I see references to lucid dreaming: when you lucid dream you are able to control your dream and sometimes it can be a terrible experience (a nightmare when you're conscious), and this could explain the lines "I don't want to hear this, I don't want to dream to feel this again" |
